DESCRIPTION:\nNAMI Connection Recovery Support Group Training\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is the NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group program?\n\n\n\nNAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Participants gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by trained leaders who’ve been there.\n\n\n\nYou would be a great facilitator if:\n\n\n\n\nYou are an adult who lives with mental illness.\n\n\n\nYou can commit to facilitating a support group for one year.\n\n\n\nYou are or are willing to become a NAMI member.\n\n\n\nYou like to co-facilitate a group (each group has two facilitators)\n\n\n\nYou have a welcoming personality and are interested in sharing information with individuals as they face the challenges of living with mental illness.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis training will be held on Saturday, Apr. 18 and Sunday, Apr. 19 from 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM, at Family Service of El Paso (6040 Surety Dr).\n\n\n\nBefore applying, click here ( https://www.namiep.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/2023ProgramLeaderDescriptions.pdf ) to read through the required Policies & Procedures.\n\n\n\nThe deadline to apply is Friday, April 10\n\n\n\n\nApply here ( https://forms.monday.com/forms/9e8efdda55ce43c35071aec9464de654?r=use1 )\n\n\n\n\n\n
